Epstein acquired a smaller island - Little St James - originally in the late 1990s, but subsequently obtained the more expansive Great St James in 2016 for approximately $22.5 million.
The released images suggest he had formulated development schemes to transform the sprawling island by building living quarters, an performance venue, an submerged workspace and a swimming pool.
Visible on the drawing is a channel, a waterway in the region, noted on the bottom right.
The site plan is annotated in handwritten red notes and contains a legend identifying distinct sections of the estate.
Alongside this are what appear to be nine other property layouts and engineering blueprints, including designs for dock shelters.
