The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative including celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of heroes who will split off from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.

This warrior group includes Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the events of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to go next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then settled his obligations and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could enable the group reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the city for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to head to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
